Seat Cushion

All seat cushion covers are removable and can be washed by hand in cold water, only. Allow to dry naturally. Do Not tumble dry. While our seat cushions are durable, they are not suitable to be left outdoors and should be kept away from direct sunlight.

Our products are made from natural rattan therefore hanging indoor or under sheltered areas is recommended. They need to be kept away from rain.

Please hang rope from around the main front frame only, not any of the bars that go around the back or smaller pieces of rattan.

Professional installation by a qualified builder is required to make sure your chair is hung correctly from a suitable sized beam.

Rope or ceiling fixtures not included. Your builder will suggest a suitable ceiling hook, however we have used on many occasions a large eye screw with d-shackle or carabiner attached to this.

You can choose any knot you wish. As a suggestion the hangman knot or improved clinch knot look great.

Hangman Knot                    Improved Clinch Knot

Each piece of furniture has been hand crafted using the highest quality rattan and bamboo. Each piece is unique so variations in colour, markings and finish will occur.

Rattan furniture is very durable, however care should be taken to keep your piece looking its best for years to come. Protect your piece from excess moisture, if spillage occurs blot the area immediately with a dry cloth.

Periodically wipe over with a soft damp cloth followed by a light application of good furniture polish or protection. If splitting has occurred due to excessive dryness you can treat this rattan/cane with tung oil wiped with a soft cloth.
